32bis building

32Bis is a cultural association dedicated to research, artistic creation, exhibitions and the sharing of knowledge. Located at the heart of downtown Tunis, the association's site is composed of two renovated buildings, covering a total surface area of 4,000 m². Formerly the Phillips head office, both buildings were established in 1953. The first building, which includes a specialised media library and a residency area for accommodation and a workshop, is dedicated to research, conferences and artistic residencies. The second, spanning over more than 2,000 m² and three floors, is dedicated to exhibitions. 32Bis' core mission is to support the local and regional art scene while enhancing its international reputation. It has positioned itself as a laboratory of ideas and a space for exchange that is open to a diverse public.

Since 2021, 32Bis has been organising a variety of individual and group exhibitions, hosting artistic residencies, and setting up support programmes for young talents. 32Bis also offers a wide range of programmes, including workshops, performances and a series of events that foster dialogue and exchange between researchers, professionals from the art world and the public. This dynamic is a fundamental part of its role in the local art scene.
